Because this is lacking in most programs out there, it causes people to go through what I like to call “The Yo-Yo Effect”
This is when you lose weight following a program and then gain it all back after it is over. Raise your hand if this has ever happened to you.
This is because most programs and challenges show you how to do a 'short term' lifestyle change. This usually involves having you restrict your diet and follow long exercise programs for a short period until you lose the weight.
But let's face it, we all know these short term plans are not sustainable. Eating bland food and working out for hours on end each day is NOT a lifestyle that people can easily sustain... let alone want to sustain for long periods.
That is why people tend to experience this yo-yo effect when trying to lose weight, because no one ever shows you what to do AFTER the challenge is over. So you are always left hanging...
